Well, we love cows and once we purchased this beautiful property with the main house, cottage and barn, it seemed natural to pair it with the cows theme. The names of each room are a breed of cow in France. The décor is clean bright and definitely country. Take a step away from the hectic pace of your daily routine and visit the French Cow Bed and Breakfast. Located on High Street, in the heart of the charming, historic business district of Comfort, Texas.

The French Cow is a rustic and comfortable choice it has four separate cottage rooms and a main house. The main house has two bedrooms and two baths with a full kitchen and a front and back porch for relaxing and sleeps 6. The Betizu is an upstairs place with one bedroom and bath and sleeps 2, The Charolais cottage has two queen beds and a hot tub to enjoy and sleeps 4. The Louradaise cottage sleeps 4, and The Montebelaird has a little seating area outside and sleeps 4.

Located on the banks of the Cypress Creek near the Guadalupe River Kendall County Comfort is 16 miles from Fredericksburg, 18 miles from Kerrville, 16 miles from Boerne, and 48 miles from Downtown San Antonio. The town is at the junction of Interstate 10 and U.S. Route 87.

Established in 1854 the downtown is one of the most well-preserved historic business districts in Texas. There are well over 100 structures in the area dating back to the 19th century.

With quaint restaurants Comfort has some of the best locally sourced foods. You can start your day at Manny’s Cafe for a little steak and eggs or an omelet. Then hit the main street, named High Street, for a little shopping and antiquing. When lunch times rolls around you have many choices.
